How can we help?
Write to soporte@macsweep.co. A person answers, usually within one or two business days.
Activating my license
Open MacSweep, go to Settings › License, paste your key and click Activate. You'll find the key in your purchase email. Activation needs the internet; after that, the license also works offline.
I got a new Mac
On the old Mac, go to Settings › License and click “Deactivate on This Mac”, then activate the same key on the new one. If you no longer have the old Mac, email us your key and we'll release it.
MacSweep doesn't find everything (Full Disk Access)
macOS protects some folders, such as the Trash, Mail and Safari. In System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access, turn MacSweep on. If it isn't listed, drag it in from the Applications folder, then reopen MacSweep.
Some items need the “helper tool”
System caches and logs belong to macOS. To clean them, MacSweep installs a small helper from Settings › Privileged Helper, which only accepts a fixed list of safe locations. If you'd rather not install it, those items are simply skipped.
Can I get back something I cleaned?
Documents and apps go to the Trash, so you can restore them until you empty it. In MacSweep, Tools › History lists every cleanup and has “Show in Trash” to find the item.
Ask MacSweep doesn't answer
It needs the internet and an active Pro license on that Mac. Also check whether you've used this month's 200 questions, shown at the top right of the panel. If none of that is it, email us.
Refunds and invoices
You have a 30-day guarantee (see refunds). Paddle emails your invoice when you buy; if you need it again, email us.
